Internal tooth bleaching in Midtown Atlanta

Dental internal bleaching is a procedure in which we apply a bleaching agent, typically hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, to the inside of a tooth in order to lighten its color.

This procedure is typically used to lighten teeth that have become discolored due to trauma, root canal treatment, or excessive fluoride exposure. 

The bleaching agent is placed inside the tooth using a temporary filling, and the tooth is then sealed. 

The bleaching process typically takes place over the course of several office visits, and the final result is a lighter, more attractive tooth color.

A discolored tooth may require root canal treatment or retreatment in addition to internal bleaching to achieve an aesthetic result.
